Peepee like a big boy

So I know that I absolutely stink at blogging, I admit this. Joining two families together has been one of the most stressful, frustrating and overwhelming things that I have had to do thus far, excluding my divorce. The sets of kids team up against each other, they are dealing with feelings of possession issues, jealousy, anger, sadness and selfishness. It is completely understandable and Adam and I are trying our best to help them overcome these issues and remain calm knowing that this too shall pass.

Well yesterday I got home with all five kids and was helping Caralynn do her homework when I heard the patter of little feet above my head. This could mean only one thing, THE BOYS ARE IN MY ROOM OR BATHROOM! They have had problems getting into my makeup and doing artwork on my walls. I took off running up the stairs thinking I would find painted faces but instead I found this..........


Yes, they were going potty together. Braeden has been potty trained for a year and we are working with Jarrett on it right now. I saw them, snuck away and grabbed my phone. When I asked what they were doing Braeden explained "I am trying to show Jarrett how to pee pee like a big boy. He is my new brudder." This melted my heart. I don't know why, but it gave me alot of hope. Anyway, my kids are great and I will TRY to update more often. :)
